A SEVERE T'STORM WATCH is in effect until 8 PM west of I-95. Heavy storms training around the I-75 corridor will slowly drift east with time. While Jacksonville will see some rain develop this evening, severe threats will be limited to areas well south of the viewing area. More rain returns Monday afternoon as a westerly flow will start the rain as early as noon, lasting through the evening.
TRACKING THE TROPICS:
The Action News Jax First Alert Weather Team is tracking no areas of concern in the tropics. We will likely be tracking an area of low pressure that should form over the weekend near the Carolina coast. This low will move north into early next week.
